Shelley Heusser
Founder & Clinical Psychologist
Quiet and present, yet piercingly intense, our Clinical Founder works from a place of visceral knowledge and extensive training that lets people feel seen. Drawn to what most avoid - addiction, trauma, and the shadowed corners of the mind - he stays with difficulty until it is ready to speak. Shaped in South Africa amid histories of violent rupture and rebirth, and refined through psychoanalytic practice, his listening is precise and deeply human.

His work is explicitly trauma-informed. Through a psychoanalytic lens, wounds are seen as relational and developmental; when early holding fails, people build lives around a void. Treatment becomes a held, honest space where defenses soften, grief can surface, and meaning can take form. He carries an ethic of Ubuntu - we become through one another - treating belonging and connection as medicine, and non-belonging as a wound worthy of care.

His approach is rigorous and human: not looking away, bearing witness to what the world has done, and staying long enough for recognition to become a felt presence of the inside. His clinical aim is not to erase pain, but to give it shape - and ripen the conditions for wisdom, self-expansion, and change.

Jason Milne
Professional Mind-Body Healer
Our mind-body practitioner and guide, trained over decades in integrative mind-body practices, doesn’t rush your story. He lets it arrive.

In his down-to-earth but commanding presence, there is space: the kind that grounds you; the kind that allows breath to settle. When you meet him, the first thing you notice is the ease in the room. It’s not accidental; it’s a steadiness he has practiced for years. But underneath it is a life that’s been re-made more than once - hard chapters faced head-on, and the kind of resilience and calm that comes from the stubborn courage to walk through the dark and find the way back.
Jason always sits beside rather than ahead, guiding when needed, and trusting the body to do its work. Trained in breathwork, yogic practices, meditation, qigong, and mantra and tantra science and practice, he weaves these into his approach not as tricks or tools, but as a way of nurturing the nervous system and strengthening your somatic compass.
